Barcelona beat Argentine club Estudiantes de La Plata for their, like, 900th trophy this year in the utterly meaningless Club World Cup over the weekend thanks to a 110th minute Lionel Messi goal that crushed the dreams of his countrymen hoisting a trophy no one cares about. This was apparently more than enough to cause Estudiantes fans to cover La Plata with graffiti stating that Messi is "no Argentine," "a traitor," and that he doesn't perform for the national team the way he does for Barcelona.
