U.S. Open champion Kim Clijsters won her opening match in the Brisbane International, beating Italy's Tathiana Garbin 6-2, 6-1 on Sunday. Clijsters, the top-seeded woman in the joint WTA-ATP tournament at Queensland Tennis Centre, will face Australia's Alicia Molik in the second round. "It was just a nice feeling to be out there again," the Belgian star said.
